The 10th International GANZ Conference, Diversity, Difference and Dialogue, called for presentations from practitioners, students and educators from Gestalt and other modalities who found the theme stimulating and wished to offer their knowledge and experience.
Information provided at the time was:
Proposals will be accepted in the form of (a) papers or case studies, or (2) workshops and group process. Presentation proposals must relate to the conference theme. The deadline for the submission of proposals is 20th March, 2016.
Papers, case studies and panels (60-90 minutes)
These sessions are oral presentations during which the author presents theoretical or empirical work. Presentations must allow time for group discussion or questions. Please submit using the Proposal for Papers and Case Studies Form. Proposal for Papers and Case Studies Form.
Workshops and group work (90 minutes)
These sessions are presentations with the inclusion of an experiential component, allowing for the active participation of the audience. Please submit using the Proposal for Workshops Form.
Proposals will go through a formal assessment process including peer review external to the conference committee.
The peer review process will make their selection according the following criteria:
- Connection to the conference theme
- Grounding in Gestalt therapy, theory and practice
- Presenters’ diversity in terms of geography and experience/ background
- Chronological order in which proposals are received (in case of equivalence in peer review evaluations)
Authors will be informed on the status of their submission by 10th April, 2016.
